Texas woman crashes Fourth of July parade on tractor

An ultra patriotic Texas woman ignored police and drove her tractor directly into a Fourth of July parade Saturday, according to officials.

Laurie Bostic, 61, was directed away from the Rockwall parade over concerns that she was “causing a disturbance” near Utley Middle School, police said in a statement.

But instead of leaving, Bostic forced her way into the procession.

Police, worried about the “dangerous way she was operating her tractor,” were eventually able to force Bostic off the road, sending her crashing into a fence.
