I live NYC. While I am no longer a Catholic from way back and pretty went from that to being a Spiritual person...
IF I had decided to stay a Christian I would have gone to a liberal church that included the belief of a women's right to choose.

I've never really considered going into political ce as a candidate, though I've volunteered.

If I did I'd reject your assumption that a Spritual person couldn't be a great liberal politicians. There are plenty of us out there.
Maybe you need to meet more of us, or! he seriously liberal Christian's, and Catholics, etc.

Nothing new, the wingnut Fascists have always paraded their ignorance of democracy and ballyhooed their intent to establish their own version of Sharia. They’re just being EVEN more blatant. Meanwhile the ignorant wingnuts barf about Libruls wanting to impose “wokeness” and all kinds of dangerous freedoms on their po’iddle wingnut selves. Just wondering: The ‘wingners used to be FOR the military, small government, “freedom/liberty” – and suddenly they’ve got nothing left. Nothing left IN PUBLIC, that is because it was always a sham about them.

By the bye, my own encounter with a Hobby Lobbiest several years ago: He was selling mattresses, chatted, told how he had been a very high level employee of the Hobby Lobby outfit, his office in the headquarters a few doors down from the actual head man. That he had to leave eventually because his daughter became severely disabled and he needed to focus only at home, although the Hobby owner was generous about some kind of financial or insurance exit support. But his story was that the entire Lobby empire does NOT use COMPUTERS at all, that the top tier of administrators have tried begging him to allow automation to no avail, that the owner has it in his Will that if his heirs *ever* try to make any changes to the empire they will forfeit their inheritance.
