Remember When America Was United - Before Newt Gingrich I Mean

The crap we see now is directly caused by Newt and his war on Democrats.

Newt and his helpers started the war on democracy.

NEVER FORGET THIS FACT

"With no disrespect to minorities - America only applied to them sometimes"

McCarthy and Cohn and anti-integration movements.

I think the gingrinch was part of the weaponization of hate which became much more efficient with targeting of populations.

The most united moment of the United States in my lifetime was the 1980 US Olympic Hockey team beating the Soviets and ultimately winning the gold medal.

felt often America has had far more to fear from within than outside of the country. There are a lot of bizarre strangely informed people in the US, especially those destroying the country while they call themselves patriots.

but Newt turned it into a political 'system' - how to 'divide and conquer' - not SERVE THE PEOPLE.
His plan/'Contract' was not to present positive ideas/plans/solutions that would serve America - it was to denigrate, scorn, and divide America in order to win the majority.
It was NEWT that flipped the switch to HATE!

I sure noticed the hate when Raygun was President, for me it goes back at least that far.

I was born during WW2 so remember nothing first hand. In my lifetime, it has been fairly contentious and getting more so.

but that all changed once women and minorities actually started to gain positions that use to be largely white men.
