38 percent of voters say they are more proud to be American today than last year

Roughly four in 10 voters said they are more proud to be American today compared to last year, a new Hill-HarrisX poll finds.

Thirty-eight percent of registered voters in the June 29-July 1 survey said they are more proud to be American today compared to this time in 2020.

By contrast, 24 percent of respondents said they are less proud to be an American compared to last year while another 38 percent said they are about as proud.

Fifty-one percent of Democrats said they are more proud to be American today while 13 percent said they are less proud and 36 percent said they are about as proud.

Not even a question as to whether I'm less proud.

I suppose the 51% of Democrats more proud, feel that way due to Joe being elected. That certainly is a reason to feel proud. I look at all the negatives this past year, and what we're still facing, and are less optimistic and proud of our nation as a whole.
