The ones that require a little mental gymnastics to come up with a reason won't get removed.

I agree, there should be some way to stop them and unless they are very specific, it's difficult.

And if you were uncomfortable deciding, you could opt out of the jury...

Perhaps there should be an alert for them, but I mostly find myself giggling at them.

I don't think there should be an alert category for differences of opinion or anxiety level.

I find myself on both sides of such questions, depending on the specifics.

Sometimes I have to think awhile before deciding, but those cover a lot.

I’ve noticed a trend of late: Debby Downers with very old membership dates and very low post counts who seem to have awakened from Sleeping Beauty’s castle and are now eager to share. Odd, that.

No threads. 58 posts in the last 90 days.
That kind of stuff. Profiles are an under used tool.

… of Debby Downers with extremely low post counts and extremely old membership dates? It’s like they were in Sleeping Beauty’s enchanted castle for the last 10 to 18 years and woke up just to tell us the world’s ending. Perhaps that is worth noticing, and noticing doesn’t actually interfere with forum moderation,

The meta forum... that was an interesting experiment!

As to your question, I haven't really noticed, to be honest. This may be, in part, because I have no qualms with trashing threads or putting posters on ignore.
