Guns are not allowed Period in courthouses, prisons, and federal buildings.

I think they should be banned from election sites as well.

Voters and election officials should be protected.

The laws vary from state to state and counties.

It is voter intimidation as well as poll worker intimidation.

And yet, it's legal here.

By our county judge that during public election board meetings, this it is legal to attend while open carrying. He did not address election day.

If the defendant has not yet been convicted of a crime that would limit his gun ownership, he should also be allowed to carry his gun. If a person is locked up until trial, they should be able to keep their gun on them in jail. Let's see how the lawyers and judges like dealing with unstable people packing in THEIR workspace! Shall not be infriged. Shove it down their throats.
Attempted to edit twice - why will it not allow the word SARCASM in the reply title??

But I bet you would be surprised the number of school board members who are packing. How do I know? My dad was one.

Fortunately I live in a place where open carry is against the law and rare.

It's also a place where open carry fools are likely to get killed.

One of our neighbors died that way bringing his gun into one of the neighborhood fast food places.

The cops shot him on his way out.

Consensus is that it was "suicide by cop."

I wouldn't want to be that cop.

The bullets must be rubber and loaded with cryptocurrency.

The rest can eat crow or recompile a Linux kernel by hand.

Sorry I couldn't resist by trying to inject some Slashdot humour into this poll.
