Fux Noise's embarrassing blunder in the White House briefing room

The White House press briefing room has been a little more boring over the past six months, which is probably a good thing. But there are occasional fireworks, mostly when Fox News’s Peter Doocy asks press secretary Jen Psaki to comment on the culture-war issue du jour on his network.

But seldom has that effort been as poorly conceived as it was Friday.

The White House announced a new effort this week to combat coronavirus misinformation on social media, particularly Facebook. It’s an effort that carries legitimate questions about what role the government should play in policing (or, in this case, helping to police) such things.

But that’s quite different from what Doocy accused the government of doing. And he did so based upon nothing but innuendo and a dumbfoundingly apparent lack of research.

3. Okay I started laughing within 5 seconds. You can't "spy" on someone's Facebook

It’s Facebook. Even if your aren’t friends with someone you can still look them up and read through their posts. Of course it could be some super secret group that you have to have access to but then that’s just circular cracker stuff.

Thanks for posting this Yo Mama. I read an excerpt earlier but haven’t been able to get video of it to load. Maybe everyone in the house is streaming - I don’t know. Anyway thanks again. Now I can sit back with my ice coffee and watch.

10. I've seen a couple of comments elsewhere about Peter Alexander's (next to Doocy) face

when Doocy goes off the rsils, and it's got me looking at Alexander ... and that was when I started really laughing. Pity poor Peter Alexander! No one should have to suffer like that.

Someone should take a screen shot of Peter Alexander's face with a blank bubble,
and and ask to fill in what Peter is thinking.

My guess would be, "How do we shut this f%$&ing idiot up?"

Yes that was funny. I call it “CSPAN face” I have no idea how the staff at some congressional hearing can just sit there expressionless. I saw another one with the red headed woman from NBC sitting next to him. So too seemed to be trying desperately not to show any emotion.

well, like a Fox, to use the somewhat ableist old saying.

Name one other network that gets its name in the news every few days like this.

It doesn't matter if we think it makes them look foolish. We aren't their target audience.
