I like frogs (and toads)... Not the least because they eat mosquitoes and larvae...

Lost all my toads over the years--I'm guessing prolonged drought plus snakes.

I live in southern Colorado. I had one left last year that sat under my porch lights to eat bugs all night, big dude. He would climb into a ground-level birdbath when he needed to soak. I haven't seen him yet this year, nor any other toad or frog, even after it rains. Still have snakes and lizards at least.

Love to hear them at night.
Saw a little one yesterday sitting on my horse's back. Just along for the ride, I guess.
