AOC, while outspoken and independent, has worked well with her fellow Dems while pushing her agenda. I don't see Turner being so cooperative.

We are always yelling about Churches losing their tax exemptions when it’s against Democrats.
Isn’t this the same thing?
The rally is at a Church, for goodness sake!

Those of us who grew up in the black church understand and know - that is where black activism takes root.

I mean - Sunday school we learned about the birth of spirituals such as Let My People Go.

It was our only place to safely discuss our country without getting lynched.

But I think they should lose their tax exemption if they use the Church to do it.
Same with the right wing so called “Christian” church should.

It has always been a bit of a sticking point for us Democrats. We rail against the GOP for being cozy with evangelicals, while at the same time we rely on AA churches and clergy in every election. Heck we don't just rely on them, we embrace them.

I was hoping to hear some of it this morning.

I'm not a church-goer, never have been, but I do know that Rev. McMickle is very influential in the Cleveland church community, big time. And he's not alone up there. This is a very big deal.

I applaud them whole-heartedly!

If they don't, they need to be taxed.
