You see we allowed the truth to not matter, at all, anymore.

It started with even people on the left believing Hillary Clinton wasnt "all that", she was, in fact (as in real good) but the truth no longer matters so fuck it, many of us are gonna die.

I've seen this suggested, but honestly that's their goal. Break the economy under Biden and they have a platform to win re-election.

I think it's something else. Whatever it is, I'm 100% positive it's not public health.

Someone did some research, sat down and did some math. Looked at the demographics of who has died from Covid, who is dying from Covid, and who will die of Covid. And they realized that it’s very likely killed more of their voters than Democratic voters. I honestly thinks that’s what happened. And they didn’t just do basic stuff, they probably cross referenced the data with their likely voter models. They realized this has cost them hundreds of thousands of voters and will cost them hundreds of thousands more if they don’t start changing their tune.

Seriously, 95% of the people dying right now are Righties, this accelerates and they could lose tens of thousand of voters per swing state.

Eventually the numbers begin to add up. When they do, all that hard fought redistricting is in danger.

Also, when people keep getting sick and their elderly relatives/friends subsequently die, people are paying more attention. I'm definitely not saying they're speaking out, but they're watching the community. Here vaccines go up when deaths do. I'm speaking rurally. How many of those folks can they afford to alienate and/or lose due to Covid? Quite a few in some districts, but far less in others.

It's a numbers game where it's far too easy to overplay your hand.

Doosey did as well. There's something in the wind at FOX. It smells rotten, like they're belatedly trying to establish some plausible deniability.

This may just be me catching this foul air, though.

I think they've worked out the political calculus on this and thus the change in promoting the vaccines.

Problem is, there is no vaccine that will get them immunity fast enough now. In three weeks there will be new covid case numbers nearly what there was mid-January 2021. Except this time, the super majority of those dying will be GOP voters.

I think another 100k to 200k are going to die in the next wave, which is a loss of votes, plus some of the surviving relatives will actually come to terms with reality, be irate and start voting DEM.

I think a campaign statistician sat down and did some math and told the party leaders that this could be a disaster for them, they could lose hundreds of thousands of voters, a lot of them in swing states.
