I've got a possible second lock down strategy, Do you?

This will be easier for me than 2020 was. BTW: thank you guys for helping me through it. You all helped me to keep my mind.

So with all this talk about another lock down I made a check list.
1: set up to have people to call and check on me ✔

2: make sure my medications will be delivered and if need to appointments can be changed to phone
appointments ✔

3: take stock of supplies ✔

4: Bubble set up ✔

5: communications ✔

6: entertainment ✔

Miss anything?

this time I've got an apartment. That makes it where I can stay away from people. Till everyone comes to their senses and gets vaccinated, seems to be the best thing to do.

I've got plenty of food, water and toilet paper. Got my aunt on speed dial. And if anyone remembers that " gentleman friend" I've talked about. We sorta had this covid bubble of two people at the start of the year. We talked about the chances of another lockdown and decided to stay a bubble of two so we can have someone to have a person to talk to and play chest with.

and chest-mate!

Play that with my bride.

Sounds as though you have a solid plan for another lock down, one which we all can avoid.

I have a few more packages of toilet paper than usual. Instead of my usual four packages in the store room I now keep my supply at 7. That 7th package goes to my local food pantry to help them help others. I have 5 packages of paper towel, 3 of the 3 boxes of Puffs lotion tissue. With allergies my nose likes the soft. Being in the desert water is always in the house and drinks that have electrolytes. My cousin moved to Arizona a year before the virus hit. He came to help me take care of my son who, at that time, had been told he had a glioblastoma tumor. My son made him promise that he would stay and that we would look out for one another because of our medical issues.

I don't think that there will be a lock down here in Maricopa county but I don't want to be caught totally unprepared.

I think it's full steam ahead. Perhaps some mask requirements, but I just don't see things shutting down again. Especially not in the red states, which is where things are the worst.

Dying from Covid is just another thing that will be normalized. Just like dying from other things like school shootings have been normalized.

But now my company has developed a viable working method to work from home, and I've been doing that since November. (But my job involves sales and fundraising in the performing arts, so if that shuts down again, I will likely have another spate of unemployment.)

I'm vaccinated, so I'm willing to go into stores for a brief time with a mask on. I still prefer curbside services for groceries. Have never stopped doing that.

I've never fully lost touch with my friends, thankfully, and I have people who will take notice if I don't text or message back right away. I'm very grateful that I don't live alone.

In case you MUST go to the doctor's in-person ((screening/monitoring and such)).

And have cash/cc on hand if you need to use a taxi.

And reestablish your mask supply.

And I take taxi's if I have to go get things that can't be delivered. Luckily very few things can't be delivered.
