2. Humans and chimps share 98.8% of the same DNA

“Researchers in China — including at the Wuhan Institute of Virology — have said the virus shares 96% of its genome with a bat virus collected by researchers in 2013 in Yunnan Province, China.”
The virus at the lab is more distantly related to Covid 19 than we are to chimps.

6. Yet Humans have 23 pair and all Chimps have 24 pair of chromosomes.

So that number can't be right. It was the going thing well before the genome was finished for both Homo Sapiens and Pan Troglodytes.
The latest number I heard was 96% which would made the separation about 10 million years instead of the usual 5-6 that was given in years past.

If you have a source please share because I’ve not been able to find anything that says 96%.

And it is the only case in nature where this has happened. (Supposedly from what I've read, but maybe not.)

So are we a genetically altered species? Is there any truth to the Story of Enki?

Both between different species and within the same species. Humans aren’t unique.

11. This is playing on most of the Internet as Paul having owned Fauci.

Almost all the comments I could see on NPR’s posting of this exchange were about the video having been “severely edited” by NPR to save Fauci.

The FUD is strong in this country.

The article I linked to sets out the basic parameters of the issues involved. The excerpt I posted is from C-SPAN. It's continuous and unedited.

I'm just one person, but it doesn't look to me like Dr. Fauci needs to be "saved" by creative editing. That said, I'm not a fan of one-sided edits.

14. My read (and view of the video) was on the NPR site.

I was astounded to see almost all the responses supporting Paul and disparaging Fauci.
