Maybe nihilism is an evolutionary adaptation to kill off humans who have

strayed too far from human harmony. Unfortunately now it is not just a small isolated population of humans immediately affected by dying because of who they follow, but the whole country (world). Thanks GOP. Thanks authoritarians.

of society, so why not? I've wondered if this craziness in some could be a response to stasis perhaps, from modern conditions of having things permanently too good. Maybe nature thinks it's way past time to make us abandon this valley and find a new place to hunt and gather, culling the weak in the process.

I'm thinking in a small isolated group it would be good to have the psychopaths genes die out. That is why they are only 1% of the population. But with this global village they will kill us all.

How did lifesaving vaccines become politicized? As Bloomberg’s Jonathan Bernstein suggests, today’s Republicans are always looking for ways to show that they’re more committed to the cause than their colleagues are — and given how far down the rabbit hole the party has already gone, the only way to do that is “nonsense and nihilism,” advocating crazy and destructive policies, like opposing vaccines.

tRump the Magnificent had already approved this literally self destructive behavior as a way to signal loyalty to him.

Speaking of nihilism, not sure how it might fit in, but I just saw an MSNBC commercial with Martha Stewart touting "PrettyLitter" cat litter. Just struck me as...not inconsonant with end times.
