Perusing the interwebs this morning I came across two stories - one from the states and one from the UK that encapsulate the madness that has descended on certain parts of our communities cause far right populism and Q has created such damage.

Firstly I read a story in Vice Breast Cancer Patient Attacked by Violent Anti-Mask Protest Outside Clinic

Wait? What? From the article:

A breast cancer patient says she was sprayed with bear mace, physically assaulted, and verbally abused outside a cancer treatment center in West Hollywood, Los Angeles by far-right activists who were angry over the clinic’s mandatory mask policy.

“You are protesting a breast cancer fucking center. It has everything to do with me and my community,” Burns said. “Do you know anything about chemotherapy? Do you know what happens to the immune system?”

A woman holding a megaphone shoved Burns, and then punched her several times. Burns said, on social media, that the woman hit her in the chest and struck her scars.

Protesting outside a Cancer Centre. Unvaccinated and Unmasked Protestors shouting at and physically attacked cancer patients whose treatment will have left them auto immune suppressed. What is WRONG with these people? Do the have any self awareness at all about what dicks they are?

Meanwhile over here in blighty we have a volunteer rescue service call the RNLI. They pop off onto the high seas when people get into drowning trouble etc. They have been in the news a bit recently because our pernicious far right Home Secretary has introduced a new law which means you could end up in prison for a very long time if you help a refugee or asylum seeker to enter the country, even if there is no monetary value to you. The RNLI quite rightly made the point that if a boatload of refugees was to start sinking in the English channel, they would of course do their upmost to save them and bring them on shore and would not expect to get banged up for it. Much obfuscation from the government and the right wing labelling them a taxi service for migrants rather than the rescue service manned purely by volunteers that they actually are.

Upshot of this of course means that last night:

And we know that these are only two examples of a much wider issue. Same exact mindset two different continents. Their dangerous lunacy is exhausting.

It's simple!

Deny the virus exists, deny mask wearing is worth doing, beat up a stranger, throw a temper tantrum - adult style, with physical violence included - declare yourself a victim, and everything will just go away.

Died. I was suppose to have 6 treatments but only had 4. After the fourth they had to give me blood transfusions because I was in pretty bad shape. To do this to someone getting treatment is to me is the same as attempted murder.
