Unfortunately, that is not the case. People feel more strongly about it today than they did on January 6th.

A recent poll showed 77% of Democrats and 59% of Republicans believed there was more to learn about what happened on January 6th. That does not bode well for some folks.

It will not be forgotten in 2022 or in 2024. They cannot make it disappear. It was a terrible and traumatic time for too many people, for it to be forgotten.

Eventually, the lie will be exposed. The truth will prevail.

Clips both long and short, and montages galore are invariably making almost every news hour to this day, mainly because that damn day just keeps on making news, day after day. January 6th generated so many related stories and angles and sidebars and latter-day leads and more - as the arrests started coming, and the mugshots started appearing, and the Congressmembers starting to talk about what it was like and how terrified they were, the trump excuses and other assorted bullshit started stinking up the joint, Crybaby Kevin started contorting his statements, and the cops began coming forward for interviews - including a very outspoken and compelling Michael Fanone - who suffered multiple insults as well as injuries that day and has done a TON of media (THANKFULLY!!!).

This is the monster that will not die. And there's so much more to come, to be said, to be covered, to be generated. And denied by the guilty and the excuse-makers and other assorted Mother Geese and Brothers Grimm, of course. But the longer it prevails in the news, and the more advanced gymnastics Kevin and the GOP try to rewrite history, the coverage continues. The eye-witnesses stick by their stories. The victims don't stop speaking out. And the video doesn't lie.
