His teams won 129 more games than they lost. An average record of about 46-36.
He may not be a great coach, but bad coaches don't average 46 wins a year.
Trust me, I'm a Bulls fan. After Jackson we've had some BAD(!) coaches. After 29+ years, I know a bad coach when I see one!
Fred Hoiberg averaged 35 wins a year. Tim Floyd had an average record of 16-66! Cartwright won 1/3rd of his games. Tom Thibodeau is the only coach since 1998 to have a winning record, & he had Derrick Rose before he got hurt!
The last 23 years have made me quite expert in bad coaches!!! LOL!

Too few drivers and only one really good on the ball defender. Lack of interior bulk, aside from Cousins.
It was obvious they were no cinch when they lost that friendly to Nigeria.

(and I know I'm going to take a lot of flak for this, so donning jacket now) the men's team is made up of a bunch of showboaters and the women's team is a TEAM. But women have historically been better team players, and I think it's our existence that makes us this way.

I think showboat is too strong a word.
But, the men's team is clearly misconstructed. It's not rounded out to make it a team.
There are multiple NBA champions on this team. Those championships are not won by guys not playing team ball.
The difference in size & pure athleticism appears to lead to a team construct that requires less one on one, "taking over a game".
Although the women's game has had many of those with that ability over the years.
Taurasi, Miller, Swopes, Catchings, Delle Donne, Stewart... They've all played on highly successful teams that relied on their ability to just take over.
But not having 12 players, all of whom can force their way to the basket & dunk, leads to a different style of ball.
Even the men have played that game. Not many middle school players could dunk!
But, athleticism continues to change both versions of the game.
