Does Kevin McCarthy have any responsibility as "Minority Leader"?

Isn't he in on all the intelligence that is passed to the House and Senate?

When Top Secret briefings are given to the Speaker of the House and the Majority Leader of the Senate, do not the Minority Leaders in each branch of Congress receive the same briefing?

Also, do not the Chair and Co-Chairs on the House and Senate Intelligence Committees receive the same briefings?

If so, how does Kevin get to blame everyone else for failures in intelligence when he is in possession of the same intel? He is oblivious to everything?

He gives no fucks for the direction he's led this so-called Party to this moment. McCarthy is silly putty. McConnell has an incredibly hard shell which he can retreat into and make undemocratic arguments in the US Senate.

...and faithfully perform the duties of their office. Yet, too often, we give Republicans a free pass, and expect only Democrats to act in the best interests of the people they serve.

This is why I think all the hate directed at folks like Manchin is misplaced. He represented West Virgina for goodness sake, yet folks incensed that he is against restrictions on fossil fuels like coal.

With many Republicans, it seems like they are just trying to sabotage everything without any effort to look out for their constituents.
