I just got an email from her (don't ask...) claiming that schools, teachers unions and local governments are conspiring to prevent parents from learning what their kids are learning.

Specifically, Critical Race Theory, which will be our downfall. Besides, she says, it's just not right to teach such things without parents' permission.

CRT is a sideshow they are using to inflame the ignorant masses. Unlike things like economic and foreign policies we can legitimately disagree on and debate, it is a non-issue that has no point. An esoteric field of study that became an imaginary problem with no real solutions.

Haley is smart enough to know this is bullshit, but if she's signing on to this sort of nonsense, there is little hope for the Republican Party.

I immediately had a visceral negative reaction to Nikki Haley once she came to prominence under Trump. It was obvious that her ‘spunkiness’ was just a facade for naked ambition while paying obeisance to the dear leader. I have no patience for these hypocritical sociopaths any more.
