Make an app. Allow people who want to sign up for it..prove their vaccination, and then businesses can use it to allow verify vaccination.
I would sign up for it in a heart beat.

(5,926 posts)same as fake IDs at bars. Lets not let the perfect be the enemy of the good. Few people will actually be forging these federal documents because of the stiff penalties for that, most will try to borrow someone else's card.

(1,914 posts)There isn't a need to make fake ones when there are PDF versions of the actual card available online for a while now. Tennessee was one of the states that had it available on their state health website. Its been removed. I believe other states had them up as well.

(5,926 posts)paper stock - another telltale sign. Forging just isn't for everyone, esp if the law has teeth.
They already caught some fool selling vax cards out of his bar in- Oregon? Cant remember the state. Anyway forging a federal document is a serious offense. Most people will just get the jab rather than risk going to jail.
Again - lets not let the perfect be the enemy of the good.

(1,914 posts)Its pretty random here in Michigan if you got a sticker or if they just wrote the number down. Mine is written, my wife's is a sticker for one and written down for the 2nd dose.

(162 posts)and we want vaccine passports. My solution would be a combined single document valid as voter ID and listing vaccine status AND using biometrics to be a valid US ID for flying and travel. It should be offered free and available from local offices and be completely voluntary. I'm ready for a national ID card but support the GOP's right to look and act like ignorant assholes and refuse the card.
