"SNIP.....

“Sen. Kyrsten Sinema (D-AZ) does not support Democrats’ $3.5 trillion budget plan that aims to deliver major components of President Joe Biden’s economic agenda that Democrats hope to pass after moving a separate bipartisan infrastructure deal that Sinema negotiated,” the Arizona Republic reports.

Said Sinema: “I have also made clear that while I will support beginning this process, I do not support a bill that costs $3.5 trillion — and in the coming months, I will work in good faith to develop this legislation with my colleagues and the administration.”

Green Party, she sure doesn't seem very friendly to 3.5 trillion plan that tries to address climate change.

She and Manchin will pull some money out, the final bill will be more like $2.8 Trillion. Not a big deal.

Manchin and Sinema are going to use their leverage here to get as many concessions as they can. An infrastructure bill is essentially a magnet for members to try and get as many of their pet projects funded as possible, and the makeup of the Senate Democratic conference just amplifies that dynamic.

Get ready for many more versions of this dance between nuke and when the bill passes.

... she's trying to alter the amount of money spent. She's simply OUTRAGEOUS in her demands, but let's try $4.5 trillion, anyway!

What it means to have a Democratic President. This should be a long, long conversation.

I don’t know anything about her. Does she have a political philosophy that lines up with her statements and votes?

Months? This is crazy. More delays while getting closer to 2022 where almost all Congresspeople will be consumed by the coming election.

About the roof falling in, or the hot water heater exploding, I wouldn't be paying $700 a month on that home repair loan, I could sound just like her.
3.1Trillion might just bring the country's infrastructure to a minimum amount of repair to keep transportation systems from catastrophic failure over the next 5 -10 years. It certainly isn't enough to bring our common critical infrastructure - transportation, energy, communication, and water - up to basic standard requirements going forward. And equally certain, not enough to be able to handle climate change. At least $10 to $20 trillion over the next 10 years is needed just to address survivability of our infrastructure over the long term
