Pro-Life or Pro-Choice.....

What's your mask argument here? What's your vaccination argument here?

What's your abortion argument here?

Are they consistent? Or are you hypocritical?

This is what should be asked about those Repugs that are being babies about wearing a mask or being vaccinated.

The Repugs always point to Dems being political and using politics.

The Repugs are always the first to make any issue - political.

ability to avoid just about anyone who treats their bodies in a way that I feel like it endangers mine, so I'm lucky in that sense. I have had antis scream at me "my body, my choice!" when they are unmasked, and it's true -- if I believe a person wanting an abortion should be able to access it because they can do what they want with their body, then I also have to accept that for the antis, it is their body and their choice to not wear a mask. I don't care that they won't see the hypocrisy, and trying to make them see it is a fool's game.

I'm just wanting to illustrate to the anti-maskers and anti-vaxxers - that they are inconsistent with their arguments.

Given the issue - they take the position that is relevant for them at the time - and they don't see or they overlook their inconsistencies.

Many people often are, and pointing it out doesn't do much to change their behavior. Because of that, it's rarely satisfying to dwell on, for me.

7. No. My abortion cannot hurt you. My refusal to wear a mask can kill you. And your Mom.

themselves with the way they control their bodies than to hurt me.

Sure, this breaks down with people who are unable to get vaccinated for whatever reason. But if antis want to say "my body my choice" to justify themselves and somehow dunk on my by saying that, I'm not bothered by their inconsistency. It's my choice to wear a mask; it's their choice to not do so.

2. I NEVER use the term 'pro-life'. Ever. They are forced birthers, nothing more. An abortion

almost never meets the test to be considered the 'taking' of a life anyway, and when it does, it is usually to save the life (not just health) of the mother. 'Pro-life' is massive semantic con game.

have no interest in or concern for helping actual people, or doing any kind of actual good at all for actual people and actual communities.

As Methodist pastor Dave Barnhart put it so very well:

“The unborn” are a convenient group of people to advocate for. They never make demands of you; they are morally uncomplicated, unlike the incarcerated, addicted, or the chronically poor; they don’t resent your condescension or complain that you are not politically correct; unlike widows, they don’t ask you to question patriarchy; unlike orphans, they don’t need money, education, or childcare; unlike aliens, they don’t bring all that racial, cultural, and religious baggage that you dislike; they allow you to feel good about yourself without any work at creating or maintaining relationships; and when they are born, you can forget about them, because they cease to be unborn. You can love the unborn and advocate for them without substantially challenging your own wealth, power, or privilege, without re-imagining social structures, apologizing, or making reparations to anyone. They are, in short, the perfect people to love if you want to claim you love Jesus, but actually dislike people who breathe. Prisoners? Immigrants? The sick? The poor? Widows? Orphans? All the groups that are specifically mentioned in the Bible? They all get thrown under the bus for the unborn.

awesome way to express the real truth and reality about the "abortion" or "unborn" issues. I will use this wording in the future whenever challenged by my allegedly "religious" friends.
