I don't have any data but it seems like there's a rash of COVID hospitalizations and deaths attributed to the bullshit they hear/read on right wing media outlets.

Will there be a point when they finally figure out that they've been lied to all along?

And they'll twist the truth to blame the surge on Biden & the dems, & their viewers will believe them. It really is a cult. I've seen it happen twice in my family, reasonable, educated people who start watching Fox and/or listening to hate radio, & a year or so later, they are gone. Their brains have been replaced with mush. You can't talk to them, you can't reason with them. Any fact that goes against their world view is a lie. And the worst thing is, they all share a common trait—they refuse to admit when they are wrong or when they make a mistake. In fact, they often double down. Trump is like this, too.

7. Judging from past history, I'd say not

Movement Conservatives ( “Conservative” is a misnomer) show little introspection or willingness to think about how their agenda hurts the nation as a whole. This is partly due to a lack of critical thinking and fear of being cast out of the herd.

The only right-wing pariahs these days seem to be convicted child-molesters and those who have questioned The Former Guy or the effects of the right wing agenda.

No, the killing doesn't occur at that high a rate. But if you can kill enough people to keep the cult thralls traumatized, then the Stockholm syndrome can do the rest.
