I cannot work out what goes on in these people's minds:
Among the many unsupported, if downright bizarre, statements uttered about House Bill 951, Rep. Larry Pittmans bested them all.
Solar farms, he announced on the House floor yesterday, make deer meat inedible.
Ive been told if deer eat vegetation around these things the meat might not be fit for human consumption, Pittman (R-Cabarrus) said on the House floor yesterday, in opposition to House Bill 951.
While folklore and falsehoods arent the best bases for policymaking, a no vote is a no vote, and bill opponents needed every one they could muster.

Solar panels are toxic, Brody claimed. What happens to the water supply if they break. Ive got a well.
Christ wept. This is said in defense of oil and coal, folks.

(1,943 posts)Naturally, the nitwit doesn't bother to do any research to bolster or refute this claim. Sounds to me they just don't like solar power so they will look for anything to try to make it look bad.

I've said before that I can't decide whether to feel sorry for or scornful of people who fall for this kind of obvious BS.
Even when I was a little kid, standing at the checkout lines in the grocery store with my mother and seeing the usual National Enquirer headlines about, "Woman gives birth to 2-headed alien baby," and so forth, I wondered, "Does anybody really believe this stuff?"
