Madison Cawthorn facing ethics complaint after screaming match with fellow GOP Congressman
Colleagues reportedly feared the conflict would boil over into an actual fistfight

Freshman Rep. Madison Cawthorn, R-N.C., is facing an ethics complaint following a Friday altercation on the House floor that colleagues reportedly feared would boil over into an actual fistfight, reports said.

The spat between Cawthorn and Rep. David McKinley, R-W.Va., began with a disagreement over cosponsorship of a particular bill, according to POLITICO. Cawthorn visited McKinley's office to request his name be taken off the bill, which he said he had mistakenly been added to, but the first-year legislator quickly became embroiled in a heated exchange with one of McKinley's staffers.

At one point, he reportedly told the woman to lower her voice when speaking to "a member of Congress," and condescendingly asked if her boss "was that guy with the mustache that nobody f---ing knows," POLITICO reported, citing staffers who had witnessed the conflict.

The beef continued later with a full-on screaming match on the House floor between the two Congressmen, after Cawthorn approached McKinley and asked: "What is your name?"

He can be childish, bellicose and stupid, but if 'he says what he means', he is a proven dicta...I mean leader without peer.

these numbskulls keep babbling about? I'd like them to name one thing, one damned thing, that's has even a hint of "socialism" in it.

They cant, because there isn't any. They're just blowing their cult whistles to get their inbred constituents lathered up.

to the American people; as well as any funds to advance the cause of public health,
as well as delivering any factual information about threats to public health, as well as
any guidelines to avoid such threats;

as well as investigating domestic threats to our government, as well as
accepting the clear results of elections, as well as making it easier for citizens to vote,
as well as resisting attempts to suppress the right of citizens to vote...

I've probably missed a few other things that prove the 'socialist takeover' to the MAGAt heads...

I’m past my fighting prime, but that seems low hanging fruit.

Although it would have been classic had it happened.

The guy that beats up innocent trees?

The 19-second video shows Cawthorn sitting in his wheelchair in the woods, punching a tree repeatedly. While he’s able to use his fists to punch away pieces of wood, more than one person pointed out that the wood appears to be rotten, making this less impressive than it might initially appear.

David Dorfman sniffed, “That wood is as rotten as his soul and the soul of the @GOP. One could chop that tree down with a wet sock.” He added, “This is a yawner from @CawthornforNC,” tagging the congressman so that he might see it.

Before he sold his soul; if we nominate trump it will be the end of the Republican Party and we will deserve it.

For her to run as a Democrat is a cynical flag of convenience move. Like the billionaire whose unrealized paper gains on his own stock are not taxable under law, but can be borrowed against for untaxed cash, the fact that it’s legal under existing rules doesn’t mean those rules shouldn’t be examined and modified. The container ship built in Maine on orders from a company in North Carolina and sold to another company in Delaware is not Liberian, even if it is perfectly legal for it to be registered there as a cheap flag if convenience. Turner is using us as a flag of convenience. Unlike Liberia, the Democratic Party as a whole gains nothing from it, and does not welcome the move.
