Help me out here, I got nothin ...

Last edited Sun Aug 1, 2021, 04:59 AM - Edit history (1)

Personally I've been to a hospital maybe 4 times in the last 40 years. (1) Slammed a car door shut on a finger in
my early 20's and I'm 63 now. Other then that, (2) when my papa, and then (3) mama passed a few years later. So that leaves when I took my sis to Kaiser about ohhhh 5 years ago for some cold symptoms and she needed a ride (4).
And that is when I noticed every freaking floor of the Hospital had a 'Pharmacy' on it. Every freaking floor. And every
freaking 'Pharmacy' on every freaking floor had multi-lines of people waiting to fill their 'prescriptions' ... and I was like WTF?

So as I recall my sis asked beforehand if I could cover her 'prescription' costs before we even left the house on our
way to Kaiser. Silly me responding with something like "you haven't even seen the doctor yet but yeah ... got ya covered". Long story short, it was a 'givin' that she was gonna need a prescription in her mind before even seeing a doctor. Walla we ended up in a 'pack' of people on some floor in line getting their prescriptions filled. and I paid for my sisters.

Fast forward to the the last few years where I cannot change the channel on the T.V. and there is not some
'miricle drug' (WITH ALL THE LIFE THREATING SIDE AFFECTS) being advertised over and over and over again on the air-waves by a pharmaceutical company to cure 'EVERYTHING' and even made up shit that bothers you.

But okay my 'rant' really has to do with this ... these same people who will not even question a prescription or it's
contents, or read the label, and take the word of their local doctor, buy AND PAY MONEY FOR, hook, line and sinker .... on possible made up shit will not get a FREE VACCINE that could really possibly save them and their loved ones lives ...

A vaccine, actually 3 so far, that have been developed by the best medical professionals across the world in a 'Pandemic' and yeah my sis is one of them who won't get the shot. I could go on and on and on, but again in short, why bother ... I got nothin ... Peace. and goodnight DU.

marketing drugs like Skyrizi and Cialis. They could even hire that dancing guy from the Toujeo ads; show him bopping down the street on his way to get the Pfizer shot.

FDA approval they'll continually advertise. Each claiming they're better then the others with less side effects. Since the vaccines are now experimental they're difficult to advertise.

with a pharmacy on every floor. I spent a ton of time (and on different floors) of a major urban hospital complex over the course of a year when my spouse was very ill. No pharmacies on any floor. ill. (Just a Walgreens on the lobby floor of the main building for the convenience of outpatients or released patients, though you didn’t have to use it, and no lines.) And no pharmacy on any floor of the hospital in a different city where I spent a lot of time visiting my elderly parents on a number of occasions.

What’s up with that?

how many of these covidiots had their children unattended at home? Let their broken bones heal on their own? Didn't take antibiotics when they got strep throat?!

I have heard my niece talking to her doctor about a UTI and now she refuses to even listen when it's the public health at risk?

And my list includes Duke University Medical Center, which is so big a complex that they could probably legitimately do something like that.
But I do get your point, and agree with you.
Remember back when big pharma couldn't advertise prescription drugs at all? Ah, the good old days...

I've been inside a reasonable number of hospitals, including working in two different ones, and never saw anything like that.

Every time I see one of those ads, and especially when they start listing all the life-threatening side effects, I wonder, why? Why do people so willingly take so many drugs? And then refuse a truly life saving vaccine?
