Breakthrough stats prediction

Cases among the vaccinated will be significantly overrepresented because they are more likely to get tested, wear masks, social distance, etc.

Furthermore, anti vaxers will point out the high percentage of vaccinated cases as evidence the vaccine doesn't work.

They do work, they keep you alive.

None of any of this matters, trumpers are gonna die before admitting trump is wrong.

My friends are like "Why bother? I'll just stay away from other people until I feel better. I trust my vaccination."

who don't wear masks are the same as the unvaccinated. Why should I think they are getting tested? Gohmert is my congressman and he is very popular.

I think breakthrough cases are quite under-represented. I've informally polled a number (dozen or so) of vaccinated friends by asking, "If you felt sick now with cold or flu-like symptoms now... Would you get tested?"

Everyone said something like, "No, why would I. I believe the vaccines work." I feel the same... The only reason I would get tested now is to help improve data. If I felt sick... I would stay away from other people.

that require hospitalization or are fatal. They most important statistic is they make between 3-5% of hospitalized covid patients. As you stated, since they mask they are less likely to get covid.

in the vaccinated, and 0% in the unvaccinated. That would be cited as overwhelming evidence that "tHe VaCcInE cAuSeS cOvId."

It's really, really, really easy to lie with cherry-picked factoids and statistics.
