Those are hilarious. I am guessing the plan with those is too try to scare them off with the fake gun and if that doesn't work you ask for a sec to get the blade out.

Funny incident. In 2013 we went to Paris and I put my Swiss Army knife in my checked bag so no problem flying. We eat lots of picnic meals when in Europe and it’s handy cutting cheese and sausage.

It was a replica of the first one with stainless sides not red sides and was my wife’s wedding gift to me…she got pearls I’m not talking a big blade. Maybe 2.5-3 inches. But it had sentimental value.

We got to the Eiffel Tower very early and could go right up. But then I read the rules and saw no pocket knives allowed! What to do. Well, I went over and inspected the bedding plants. Snapdragons I’ll never forget. Dropped the knife into them. Retrieved it when we were done.

Now I don’t carry one unless fishing. Actually I can carry one at work. But the company has to issue it!

since the early Eighties. I usually remember to take it out of my purse before I go to the airport.

I know that it is considered like 'brass knuckles', and has been for decades!

Somehow I have managed to avoid getting caught with it!

If so, I want the confidence of the TSA agent who scored that takedown.

They will never live down keeping the American skies safe from super soakers.
