that when you joined the military you didn't have any choice about vaccinations, that they were mandatory. I don't see why COVID would be any different, especially during a pandemic.

Still, I would think that the military would have the right to restrict you if you were unvaccinated.

Federal law requires requires informed consent for military personnel for vaccines under an EUA. This can be waived by the President if he determines vaccination is in the interest of national security. If it isn't waived, then personnel cannot be ordered to be vaccinated unless the vaccine has full FDA approval.

We had to do the same, walk a gauntlet of nurses/ orderlies stopping every 10 feet to get a shot in each arm. About 10-12 in all, then a repeat a few weeks later.

To vaccinating the world. By God if we could turn out planes, boats/ships, guns, and tanks by the shit load during WW2 we can make enough vaccines for the world. Let's be bold and lead again.

When I was in the Army, there was never any question about getting our vaccines. And I never even remotely considered that one could refuse the vaccine. We were ordered to get them and we got them. Of course, the only motive behind this was keeping the fighting force healthy, so refusing the vaccine would just have been a paralyzingly stupid thing to do .

Although I was a tanker, and the tanker's motto is "Tanker Tough", I wasn't exactly John Rambo or anything. So when I hear about soldiers today screeching and whining about having to get their vaccines, I can only wonder at what weak, slack-muscled, mamas-boys they all must be.
