Heres a thought for the Biden administration to consider: If youre going to start paying people $100 to get vaccinated, you should start charging unvaccinated people $50 each time they have to be tested (Federal Workers Must Get Shots or Test Often, U.S. News, July 30). See how quickly they modify their thinking.

If you're not vaccinated, you get tested daily at something like $100 a pop.

no health coverage at the time. And, for the ones who survive, the ongoing cost of treatment.

It will just raise the costs of insurance to all the folks who did get vaccinated if they are on the hook for such high bills.
