8. It's good to have voice wanting faster change

You don't want the President and his party looking like the "extreme". This is about the Overton Window, people. You state clearly what the best outcome would be, and then get the centre of the electorate to move towards it, even though they won't go as fast as we'd like.

9. FDR's Social Security was half what it was meant to be.

It didn't include spouses or provide survivors' benefits. It took four more years to improve the program.

He got what he could. I don't think these Sunrise Movement kids understand not being catered to, or having to face real disappointment.
