New study suggests vaccination prevents reinfection

with Covid 19 at twice the rate among population of those who have previously had COVID-19 and not been subsequently vaccinated.

For anyone with friends or family who are insisting they won't get vaccinated because they've already had COVID-19 and think they are immune, show them this study.

at twice the rate

Would that be the same ratio, ie "twice" as a vaccine that was 95% effective vs a vaccine that was 90% effective?

I do not know what the risks are. Do these "Breakthrough" cases tend to be mild without hospitalizations?

Are vaccines for this group, "previously infected" similar to a Booster?

Whether or not we become symptomatic, a slightly novel immune response has to be mounted.
