(just north of Houston), according to a sick family member.
A family member has been diagnosed with kidney stones. He said he counted 25 people on O2 in the Emergency Department. The doctor said that normally they'd admit him, but they have no rooms available.
Dammit, to have to go home with kidney stones and no monitoring by nurses, etc. I despise the unjustfiably unvaccinated right now.

(3,928 posts)and both are more racially diverse than the average US city. I live on the Spring/Humble line - Spring address but get Humble police. Most of my neighbors have been Democrats. Houston is so huge it keeps pushing out in the rural areas. Let's be careful about labeling people rednecks. There has been way too much confusion spread about this horrible virus and, sadly from my experience, the more rural areas are less likely to keep up with news.
