I remember when hurricanes went up the Atlantic. I guess the cycle were in now is all Gulf direction.

The experts suggest that there are other factors which should keep it weak - we'll see.
They don't get many wrong.

For 3 nights. North of Tampa. Looks like we may be spending time in breweries rather than on the water.

Don’t get me wrong. I drink way too much. But not on a boat. It’s way more dangerous than having a drink or two even if driving. Boats don’t have brakes and if you wreck your boat even if you live through the impact you will be thrown into the water and your problems are just starting!

Stay safe down there.

we 'lose' again with not having TFG here to bring out the 'Magic Sharpie' and send Fred on to those 'Radical Left Democrat' sites so that the world can be safe from harm.....

(Oh, and for you 'trollers' looking for good juicy stuff: )

((Also for you 'trollers' - since you probably don't know what that means:

sar·casm /ˈsärˌkazəm/

noun - the use of irony to mock or convey contempt. ))

We're due to get a new roof in the next couple weeks - once the permit comes through. I'm hoping we can get under it before the worst of the season.

We had a contact for a new roof in October. In September the storm hit and wrecked our shingles. Insurance covered 9K of an 18k roofing job!

Yep, Irma saved me $9,000? My best friend told me I’m the luckiest SOB he has ever met!

Hopefully will bring enough rain for a good car wash.

I should shut up though. I’ve been here 40 years and one of the tropical storms kicked our butt and created worse problems than any Cat 1 or 2 ever did.

You just can’t judge these storms.
