Got behind a big pickup at a stop light. He had a couple bumper stickers, one said save the constitution, the other was a coexist with a target over laying. I thought here's another dumb fuck then noticed his Florida license plate. He did not disappoint, when the light turned green he stomped the gas and charged forward at 10 miles per gallon. And of course I caught up at the next light as he turned into Walmart. The dumbass was a long way from home. One of those assholes that only think the constitution pertains to gun ownership,
At the pharmacy/grocery store there was a woman by the entrance with 2 kids and a sign saying she was raising money to get into a hotel (supposed to be 104 today) I don't usually give panhandlers money and it might have been a scam, but in the chance it wasn't I gave her $20,

I recently gave $20 to a homeless man and he was so grateful. It helped me, too.

(46,023 posts)There was a regular place on my way home from work where people would beg. I had two sets of keys - one for my car and one for my house. I don't remember why. One night, I gave one of my regular people my house keys, too. He asked the next night if I'd lost some keys. It took a couple of days, but eventually, I saw him, and he gave me my keys back.
It was around Christmas time, so I put $40 in a Christmas card for him. When I told him I had a card for him, his face lit up. He didn't even know there was money in there.
