3. Are we getting shorter?

I live in KCMO north and it seems like people are mostly white but that's not true. Lots of minorities live here.

I was in a grocery store out in Grandview a couple of days ago and most of the customers were black.

I would bet that a pretty high percentage of people in KCMO are minorities. And that may be why KCMO votes mostly blue.

4. Non Hispanic Whites

there are a significant percent of Hispanics who are white. It wasn't all that long ago that people such as the Irish and the Italians weren't considered white. If Hispanics start being considered white they may well vote more GOP overtime.

11. I think that's happened to some extent.

Besides that, it’s pretty a heterogeneous group including indigenous people, descendent only of European settlers, and mestizos. I think indigenous people and mestizo people are discriminated against in Mexico. I suspect that many whites in the US think Mexican people are homogenous and “non-white.” I suspect that in the US, the white identity of Latino people is correlated with color and “white appearance.”

With Wilbur Ross and Trump playing politics with the count, with Right Wing talkers telling their listeners not to answer Census questions, with Covid 19 impacting canvassing efforts, with Quazy white people that think the Deep State is coming to get them, I wonder how accurate the info is this year.
