1. And that's why the filibuster has to go.

Schumer, President Biden, along with every other high-powered Democrat in Washington, must be locked in a room with Manchin, Sinema, and every other Democrat who's sitting on the fence about deep-sixing the filibuster, and not come out until they're walking in lockstep about giving the finger to the GQP and the filibuster.

Apparently they don't quite understand what's at stake here. Nothing less that our nation's democracy, is what's at stake, and total fascist republican control of the entire country.

We can't fail to protect the voting rights of every American citizen.

No one senator should be the decider of whether or not there are voting rights and an end to dark money.
Any senator willing to sacrifice their job to preserve nationwide democratic voting will probably save their job by voting to eliminate the filibuster. Isn't voting access what a proper conservative would conserve?

Yes, there are bad Democratic politicians too, just not as many.

They do understand that Democracy is at stake, but they just don't care.

Maybe President Joe can make the horse sing, but odds are against him.

I wish it were not so.

Horrid. Sowed all kinds of bad seeds: selfishness, greed, thoughtlessness, carelessness, heartlessness, NO longterm thinking, NO thought given to what the ramifications might be, NO thought about the greater good, only “what can I get for ME.”

https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/politics/2021/06/21/monmouth-poll-americans-back-both-early-voting-voter-id-requirements/7774904002/

At 64%, Democrats were more likely than Republicans, at 43%, or independents, at 42%, to express concern about voter disenfranchisement, reflecting a concern within the party about voter suppression after several cycles.
