Distant cousin (2nd) who is MAGA says House GOP may snatch the thunder from Dem

progressives by voting FOR the infrastructure bill in matching percentages with their GOP counterparts in the Senate. I don't think they have the guts to do that but stand by. The GOP has no shame...

We need the bill. If our side can't get our shit together, we'll have to take any vote that comes our way.

they can't vote for it until Pelosi puts it on the floor. What is your cousin blabbering about ?

Once the senate passes the reconciliation bill and both bills are put up for a vote in the house they are welcome to vote for it. It will be even more of a success for us democrats.

they can vote like that and get the bill passed...sure....I dare them too.....

....but we all know who gets the credit and signs the bill!

....plus, if they do that it only helps with push Biden's bipartisan creds.

He called for bipartisanship. That's what the media would focus on, not the GOPers who voted for it. They'd be giving the "thunder" to him, along with a "Biden win."

One, it's a shot at progressives

Two, they can sing the "Bipartisanship" song

Three, they back up Manchin and Sinema who argue that Bipartisanship works and no need to kill filibuster
