A majority of trumpers now view the Jan 6 terrorist attack as an act of “patriotism.” Now that a majority of MAGA openly supports a terrorist attack against the US as “patriotic” how can MAGA not be labeled a terrorist group?!

I was thinking about the American Nazis. There are so many parallels it’s scary. But one thing I think is different is that a lot of Nazis would be willing to sacrifice all for the fuhrer and country. Fortunately for us most American Nazis are too self centered to really be willing to make extreme sacrifices. I guess you could say the insurrectionists were but most of them were closer to thinking of the riot like a big rock concert or sporting event. I think most RW nuts are really pretty cowardly just like their lord and savior. Certainly TFG only cares about himself and I think a small number are starting to realize that.

CBS chose a poll question and responses that look deliberately designed to produce polarized, sensationalistic results. Since those generate clicks and views, this looks like a case of CBS skewing a poll to help pay their bills.

The question is seriously "How would you describe what happened at the Capitol?" It doesn't ask, "How would you describe rioters taking over the United States Capitol?"

The people answering the CBS question are free to think of the (peaceful if jerk-infested) Capitol protest as "what happened at the Capitol," not the riot and takeover of he Capitol. If the shoe were on the other foot and we Dems were asked about a BLM protest where some property destruction occurred, we'd choose the option "Defending Justice," not "Vandalism."

So the poll shows nothing about those polled, but it conclusively shows the pollster is either rotten, incompetent, or both.
