Proud Boys -lessons from the Reich master-disrupt at local levels

The latest twist in the Proud Boys’ evolving post-insurrection strategy—in which they have shifted their efforts toward insinuating themselves into local right-wing protests and causes, hijacking them along the way—has been taking shape in the Pacific Northwest, and it’s an ominous one that portends the merging of far-right street-brawling forces with evangelical “Dominionists” seeking to displace democracy with fundamentalist authoritarian rule.

The strategy was on display this week in Salem, Oregon, when a Dominionist group organized a monthly gathering they call The Church at Planned Parenthood (TCAPP)

I was watching a documentary on the Nazi's rise in Germany. Hitler learned from his first coup attempt not to attack the established government. It landed him in prison where he wrote Mein Kampf . On release he formed his thugs into small groups that terrorized small towns and sowed discord on a local level. Show how your town is ill-equipped to handle the chaos. Order needs to be restored and only the strong can restore that order.

These assholes are mimicking his lessons. Attack the capital and you might land in jail . Focus on the local school board, the local women's health care clinic the local town government.

It is a spreading cancer

As well as more people politically, financially and logistically supporting them. Otherwise the space for democratic politics will be smaller and smaller. I would not be surprised if Democratic campaign workers are subjected to a lot more physical attacks than in the past. It must be stopped.
