with a self-inflicted injury. They got medical care.

I'm strongly pro-vaccine, but there are slippery slopes here.

To do anything close to this though I think there'd have to be a change to ACA by Congress, and even then the most the insurers could do is charge extra for premiums.

Yes there are exceptions but it would be farcical to compare a typical suicide attempt to a person who has made the deliberate, willful and calculated decision to endanger not just their own life but literally every single person they may come into contact with.

It's not the same thing.

The ranks of our medical professionals were thinned last year due to death and disability and pure mental, physical and emotional exhaustion. Fewer people signed up for this gig in a pandemic and there were fewer people available to teach them.

We simply cannot, as in do not have the capacity, to treat 10's of MILLIONS of stupid fucking assholes who elected not to get vaccinated because freedumb and libtards.
