You have to have something shiny to dangle in front of rich folk with money. Ideally you have several. Wars, lower taxes, under aged girls, and scams to rob lots of powerless people are the basics. It used to be harder since you also had to figure out a new way to advertise hatred in a clever way that made sure you and those you advised could avoid any immediate blame.
Now the bar is lower. It has never been easier to become a GOP strategist. The hate speech no longer needs clever misdirection and with so many power brokers going to jail for trafficking minors for sex, the field is wide open for new and aggressive operators.
The demand is high and there a lots of insane folk desperate to thrash around with all their crazy big money, but first you are going to have to have something shiny to dangle, or it will be no deals for you.
This is how you do it. This is how you become a GOP operator and it has worked like a charm for half a century and more! Don't be discouraged now, the idiots are ripe for harvest, both the rich one and the poor ones have show they are crazier than ever. Think pharma dude crossed with pillow guy. That is your first target. Can you interest him? Are you bold enough?
