(16,370 posts)Particularly anyone from Ws administration. Afghanistan is one of the most grotesque examples of mission creep in history. Our objectives when we went in as stated by Ws administration was to take Afghanistan off the table as a refuge for international terrorism. The other was to capture and/or kill UBL.
The first objective was completed in late 2002 and the other would come 8 years later.
Ive been hoping for our withdrawal since at least 2005, when it became clear that it was unlikely UBL was still in Afghanistan.

U.S. stuck their nose in where didn't belong , 9/11 wanted revenge we got it by way of Obama , BIN LADEN got ass filled with holes . republican's are just not good at policy . good at starting conflicts can't finish , all these clown's in the slammer with federal charges on them, thank's for the effort , sorry , but now you people are on your own now .
