With Covid-19 surging across the state, Texas has requested five mortuary trailers from the federal government in anticipation of an influx of dead bodies, state officials told NBC News. The mortuary trailers from the Federal Emergency Management Agency will be stationed in San Antonio and sent around the state at the request of local officials.
Department of State Health Services spokesperson Doug Loveday said the trailers were requested after officials reviewed data about increasing deaths as a third wave of the coronavirus struck the state. "We are anticipating a need within the state of Texas for these trailers as Covid cases and hospitalizations continue to increase," Loveday said.
Abbott issued an executive order banning vaccination and mask mandates July 29 as cases rose in the state. The order was challenged and recently upheld by the Texas Supreme Court. As the death toll rises in Texas, Gov. Abbott has said he will aggressively sue anyone advocating mandatory vaccinations or masks.
Gov. Greg Abbott's office did not respond to a request for comment about the need for mortuary trailers.

(14,144 posts)... bodies up on the spot right in the back of the hospitals. Then use the red mush to make flower bed compost ?
If the bodies get ground up and essentially disappear Abbott can then more easily fudge the Covid deaths on the certificates of death.
A win win for Abbott.
