Holt asked Petraeus if there was a scenario in Afghanistan that would have resulted in the Taliban not taking over when the U.S. troops left? Petraeus lied through his philandering teeth and said "Of course," mumbled something about a sustained sustainable approach (that for some reason Petraeus never got around to implementing when he was running things there) and bad-mouthed President Biden.

Yeah, that was a worthwhile segment, NBC.
