Tropical Storm is right over Jamaica as I type

The good news is that it is moving fast and the even better news is that it will become a hurricane after it leaves our shores.

Lots of rain her but just spirts of wind.

I suspect there will be some here - in Portland, St Mary and St Ann - the North Coast will get the worst of this and would you know it - the first cruise ship in 19 months is the Ocho Rios harbor .

7. It won't be a hurricane here so that's the better news for Jamaica

It will strengthen in the Caribbean Sea and hit Mexico twice

10. Grace left the shores last night

We were very lucky - lots of folks have power cuts and water problems. Lots of road damage and flooding but no loss of life.
