Tucker Warns That America Will Be ‘Invaded’ by ‘Millions’ of Afghan Refugees

Fox News host Tucker Carlson warned his viewers on Monday night that U.S. elites would use the sudden collapse of Afghanistan to resettle “millions” of Afghan migrants “in your neighborhood,” describing the granting of asylum to war refugees as an invasion.

Carlson, who has repeatedly promoted the so-called Great Replacement conspiracy theory that argues liberals are replacing white citizens with obedient non-white immigrants, kicked off his Monday night primetime show by first suggesting America lost in Afghanistan because of “radical gender politics.”

“It caused revolts, but officials kept doing it, they kept pushing radical gender politics anyway, because they could, because they were in charge of these Stone Age people they were going to educate,” Carlson declared, later adding that the Taliban takeover showed that Afghanistan “firmly rejected what our leaders were selling it over 20 years.”

After seemingly praising Afghanistan for rejecting “American-imposed gender quotas,” Carlson went on to claim that the “people who made the Afghan occupation possible” are the same folks who support “unrestrained immigration” and open borders.

Tucker Carlson blames Taliban gains on 'grotesque' gender studies

While the world watched in horror on Monday as the Taliban quickly unraveled 20 years worth of work in Afghanistan, Fox News, offering a semblance of normalcy, continued to do what the network does best — make outlandish and politicized claims during a moment of national reflection.

Tucker Carlson, host of Tucker Carlson Tonight, used his primetime slot to claim Afghanistan's fall is a result of a "grotesque," American-imposed "neoliberal program" in which "men can become pregnant" and Afghan women can serve in government roles. "It turns out that the people of Afghanistan don't actually want gender studies symposium," said Carlson.

He also purported that a swell of Afghan refugees are now coming to overrun American neighborhoods — "so first we invade, and then we're invaded," he said.

Laura Ingraham, host of The Ingraham Angle, seemed to agree, asking viewers if they were the ones who promised "thousands of refugees from Afghanistan" that they were welcome in the U.S.

As Afghans scramble to escape the Taliban, Fox News hosts lean into anti-refugee rhetoric

Hundreds of people tried to board a U.S. military aircraft in Kabul on Monday before those shut out ran alongside it, risking their lives in a desperate attempt to flee the country as the plane attempted to take off.

The striking scene led to passionate pleas from Democrats and Republicans alike to make resettling refugees a top priority amid America’s chaotic military withdrawal from Afghanistan. But the idea of clearing a path for asylum seekers to come stateside rankled some Fox News television hosts.

On his Monday evening show, Tucker Carlson went so far as to compare Afghan refugees, who aided U.S. military troops and now face grave risk from the Taliban, to an invading force.

“If history is any guide, and it’s always a guide, we will see many refugees from Afghanistan resettle in our country, and over the next decade, that number may swell to the millions,” Carlson said. “So first we invade, and then we are invaded.”

... I don't know if he knows it, but I think Tuckums would be much happier in the new Afghanistan; his ideas are more aligned with the Taliban than with liberal democracy. He should more there! He is very wealthy, so I think his US land would take care of many Afghan refugees.

Now, this moment, this Afghanistan attention, is a tela, a cloth of immensely complex warp and woof resulting from the actions of many over time. There is a human trait, a failure to admit (overlook, downplay, deny) the reality of karmic results unwanted and unseen and contrary to their desires. Not all goes to plan, however pain is a given.
