Now CNN is interviewing some Army Ranger, giving him a lot of airtime, letting him rant about all his fellow servicemen who made the ultimate sacrifice, and how they're being dishonored. It's so predictable.

This sort of thing really underscores the true purpose of corporate media: to defend permanent military entanglements throughout the world, and justify the huge defense budgets needed to sustain all these for-profit boondoggles.
