(10,429 posts)She didn't put up with his condescending interrupting in 2008, so he yanked off his wiring and walked off the set. He's had a grudge ever since.
That's why she's never been a guest and you never see mention of her show, clips from her show, not even a promo for it at commercial time on MJ. All the other hosts appear from time to time, but not Rachel.
Because Joe Scum threw a tantrum and holds a grudge.

(10,156 posts)Now CNN is interviewing some Army Ranger, giving him a lot of airtime, letting him rant about all his fellow servicemen who made the ultimate sacrifice, and how they're being dishonored. It's so predictable.
This sort of thing really underscores the true purpose of corporate media: to defend permanent military entanglements throughout the world, and justify the huge defense budgets needed to sustain all these for-profit boondoggles.

Chuck is a rich person not lacking affordable housing, Healthcare, and little of this effects him. He's hobnobbing with movers and shakers at cocktail parties, while American kids go hungry.
Not sure how influential he is, but he has a media platform to sway some viewers with his anti-democratic agit-prop

(17,595 posts)We only had 2,500 troops, and a massive build back up would be politically impossible.
TFG made the deal.
Negotiated the terms of surrender.
Americans want us out, and foolishly believed the Afghan Government would take over.
Careful what you wish for.....

(43,128 posts)All sides need to try something different. They're making flexible noises? We'll see, but they know there are limits to what will keep the world quiet. We can't install democracy everywhere, even with 20 years of effort. Every third world country is not eastern Europe, 1946.
