The governor of Florida is pushing Regeneron treatment instead of vaccination.
I have taken Regeneron but it was not that easy.
Currently, I have lymphoma and had a treatment called CAR-T.
Due to the nature of treatment, I had to wait for at least 3 months to be eligible for vaccinations.
Unfortunately, I developed COVID-19 before I was able to get my vaccinations.
It was a mild case where I had a fever and cough that I could not beat.
My doctor was able to get me Regeneron but had to get FDA approval first.
My situation was special because due to the cancer treatment my body was not producing antibodies to fight COVID-19.
The drug helped me beat the fever and cough.
Since then, I received my vaccinations.
