5. There is a bood by Gary Webb, Dark Alliance, first published in the San Jose Mercury News.

Then the CIA stepped in and Gary Webb was destroyed. It was tied in with the for profit prisons, and of Course Iran Contra/Drugs to U.S. Cities, it helped raise the funds to re-colonize Central America for U.S. corporations and investors.

His book, "The Crimes of Patriots: A True Tale of Dope, Dirty Money, and the CIA" offers more investigative proof of CIA dealings w/ drugs & cartels going back to Vietnam. Basically, it's always the same story, they need to fund some dark ops, so they turn to illicit sources of cash.
