If a person is unwilling to take the vaccine during a plague and ready to buy into conflicting, changing, inconsistent, cult driven, conspiracy theories, that person is inevitably going to spread this to vulnerable people. That same person is likely to use chemicals recommended and sold by cult leaders and to undermine the recommendations of qualified health care professionals.
If a health care worker has a medical reason for not taking the vaccine, they are also unqualified to work directly with patients. During a highly contagious plague such a health care worker could potentially work from home and save lives, but exposure to risk and the chance of spreading disease makes them unqualified to directly care for the vulnerable or ill.
So there are no qualified health care workers who are not vaccinated.

(3,888 posts)no First Responder (firefolk or police folk) is qualified or safe to remain on the job unvaccinated.
I don't want the unvaccinated anywhere near me in an emergency.

(46,771 posts)I personally know physicians and nurses who will not get vaccinated. I would never seek any advice or treatment from any of them.
They are not capable of clear and rational thinking.
